Some folks have asked me what I like about art. What types of art and what I like to look at. Here's the best way I can answer that.... www.artrenewal.org/ Go to Vist the ARC Museum. You will not be disappointed. Sculpture and what I call traditional art. Good stuff. From the Masters and more. Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Cote, Michaelangelo, Ruebens, Van Gogh. It's all in there. I think my favorite is William Bouguereau. Never heard of him? Me either. Not until I found ARC. The last 30 or 40 years have been tough on traditional art. So tough in fact that modernists decided to go on the attack against it. Evidence: I never heard of William Bouguereau until I found this web site. How do I define art? Look at William Bouguereau's paintings. Look at the faces. Then the hands and then the feet. Attention to detail. That's art. Of course some of the traditional art is good stuff and I like it. I'm a huge anime fan. But art in it's most basic form is supposed be something that brings the beauty of the world to you. It should look real. Not fake or out of perspective. ARC has their own philosophy on what art is and they are not ashamed to share it with the world. There's a tab for it right there. Right below the Visit the Museum tab is the ARC Philosophy tab. Check it out. These are people with untold years of experience. And they know how to get their opinion across to people. And don't forget to check out that Museum. Last I checked there were over 80,000 images in their Museum. It used to be free. Not long ago they started charging $25 to see the HiResolution images. But you don't have to pay if you just want to look at the regular pics. I paid.

I like to take pictures. I have been published. I was on board a US Navy Destroyer during Desert Storm and I had a 24 exposure roll of 35mm film basically confiscated by the US Navy. At least they let me get a copy made. The letter from the 'big boys' told my command to 'instruct me' to turn the film in. In other words they were ordering me to give up the goods. Funny thing is I could always throw the film over the side. As we said in the Navy, "I'm not sure where it is, but I can probably give you a lat and long on it." I told the command as long as I could get that copy then I would be happy. Everyone agreed and we were in business. My pic ended up on the back cover of Surface Warfare before the Navy even got it. Some admiral who had a copy of the pic turned it in. At least it had my name on it. Now the roll of film lives in the US Navy Historical Stills Library or some wordy place like that. And it's been in all sorts of books and magazines. Navy Times used it. So it gets around and I make zilch off of it.

I'm Mid-Western guy that belongs in Western Arizona. Former US Navy. Disabled Veteran. Harley rider. 4x4 driver. I dig guns, shooting, hunting. Fishing too. Camping. Hiking if my disability doesn't interfere with it and it usually does. Appreciate the great outdoors without being a busybody that expects everyone to adapt to my way of thinking about the great outdoors. I mind my own business.

You're very welcome. I noticed you mentioned Elfin Lied. I have a copy of it. I think it's one of those aftermarket ripoffs. But it seems to work. I've only got to watch that first episode. Wow. Violence is a hallmark of that show. I need to watch the rest of it.

I LOVE Elfen Lied
For me it is the best horror anime ever and the latin song (love latin) is the best anime opening song ever.
I think i have watched it like 5 times and some of the episodes I have watched so many times I lost the count.

I hope you will enjoy it!
